Description of Documents
The JUSTICE FOR WOODY REPORT is the culmination of the group's 6-month investigation into the killing of Robert Woodward and official actions surrounding it. Based upon eyewitness testimony and forensic evidence, the report presents an abbreviated narrative description of the shooting, an analysis of the evidence, a detailed analysis exposing the deceptions of the Vermont Attorney General's report, and a call for reforms and accountability. The report presents a number of disturbing discoveries which raise serious questions about the actions of the officers, the reactions of the authorities, and the conclusions of the Attorney General's report. The version 1.0 PDF document is only slightly different from the document distributed in printed form at the press conference, which was version 0.9. The version 1.1 HTML document similar to the versoin 1.0 PDF document, but is reformatted with hyperlinked tables of contents, and has a few minor corrections to its content.
The Justice for Woody DETAILED NARRATIVE recounts events at the All Souls Church on the day of the shooting death of Robert Woodward. Based on transcripts of the Brattleboro Police dispatcher in conjunction with statements and interviews taken by State Police Detectives from eyewitness, police, and rescue personnel, it presents the incident from the perspective of those present. Every effort has been made to provide a complete and accurate portrayal of the incident as described by more than twenty eyewitness accounts. A version of the Detailed Narrative in HTML is also available here.
The Woodward Shooting Report is the document created by the Vermont Attorney General's office to justify the exoneration of the shooters of Woodward. This document is provided here for reference. It is also available in other forms here, including an HTML version with links to analysis.
