Goat Peak of the Goat Crest

This is Goat Peak. We just came up from the saddle in the bottom middle of the picture. We didn't climb Goat, which is a little higher than the peak we're stadning on, because the route, which goes up the ridge extending toward us, is pretty long and rough, so it would have taken a few hours.
This picture shows the end of the east ridge on extending from the right of Goat Peak in the middle right, the south side of the impressive Arrow Peak in the upper left, and a sea of peaks in the central Sierra in the background. There is pleanty of smooth granite in the basins, but there is talus on the peaks and the distant slopes are mostly talus. This contrasts with the opposite view to the west where most of the slopes are smooth granite surfaces.
